Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Let cool on a wire rack.

Do not overbake; they should be soft in the center for a brownie-like texture.
You can add nuts like walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
