Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
Dice the apple pie filling into small pieces if needed, so it fits nicely inside the biscuit dough.
Step 3: Flatten the Biscuit Dough
Separate the biscuit dough and, using a rolling pin or your hands, flatten each biscuit into a round disk about 1/4-inch thick.
Step 4: Fill and Seal the Bombs
Place about a tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of each dough round.
Carefully bring the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching them together to seal, forming a ball shape.
Place the sealed balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5: Bake the Apple Pie Bombs
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 6: Coat in Cinnamon Sugar
While the bombs are baking, mix the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
As soon as the apple pie bombs come out of the oven, brush them with melted butter, then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
Step 7: Add Optional Glaze (Optional)
If you’d like to add glaze, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the warm apple pie bombs before serving.
Step 8: Serve and Enjoy
Serve the apple pie bombs warm for the best taste, or at room temperature.
