  • 8 oz of linguine pasta
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Cook the linguine in a pot of salted water until al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining and setting the pasta aside.

  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Add a splash of reserved pasta water, white wine, and fresh lemon juice to the skillet. Let the sauce simmer for about 2 minutes to blend the flavors and slightly thicken.

  • Before serving the Shrimp Scampi, garnish with chopped fresh parsley to introduce a pop of color and a touch of freshness to the dish.
