Fried Chicharrones with Guacamole on the Side
Crispy fried pork belly (chicharrones) served with a creamy guacamole dip for a perfect appetizer.

Ingredients

pork belly
cut into cubes

vegetable oil
Salt to taste
For Guacamole:
2
avocados
mashed
1
small onion
finely chopped
1
lime
juiced
1
tomato
diced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Fry the Chicharrones
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork belly cubes and fry until crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
Step 2: Make the Guacamole
In a bowl, mash the avocados and mix with the onion, tomato, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Serve
Serve the crispy chicharrones with the guacamole on the side for dipping.

Add jalapeños to the guacamole for extra heat.
Serve with salsa for variety.
