Ingredients
  

  • For the Dip:
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, based on preference
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce like Frank's RedHot
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  • Step 2: Combine the Dip Mixture
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo wing sauce. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the sauce and mix well to coat.
  • Step 3: Add the Cheese
  • Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until the cheese begins to melt and the dip is creamy.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Dip
  • Transfer the mixture into an 8x8-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  • Step 5: Bake the Dip
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden on top.
  • Optional: For a slightly crispier top, broil the dip for 2–3 minutes after baking.
  • Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
  • Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions, a drizzle of ranch or buffalo sauce, or crumbled blue cheese if desired.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
