Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • 12 oz egg noodles cooked

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Brown the thinly sliced beef sirloin in the melted butter until fully cooked. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Using the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until translucent. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender and fragrant.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture, stirring thoroughly to combine. Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens to a creamy consistency.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well blended into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked beef back to the skillet, heating it through in the creamy sauce.

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
